I’m Jose, and I’ve been working in construction for more than 25 years. My career began with projects of the highest importance, including work on the Pentagon after the damage of 9/11. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of learning every aspect of this trade — from large-scale remodels to the smallest details that make a house feel like home.
After moving to Raleigh, I spent years working with local companies, sharpening my skills and building relationships in this community. But my lifelong dream was always to create a family business. Today, that dream has become reality as I work side by side with my son, Michael, under the name Menders Construction.
Together, we bring precision, passion, and trust to every project. Whether it’s building a screened-in porch, remodeling a kitchen, crafting a custom outdoor living space, or a simple paint job, we approach each job with the same care as if it were our own home.
